Our prediction for this Championship match:
After holding Wigan Athletic to a goalless draw on Matchday 37, Luton Town will be aiming to return to winning ways when they restart the season with a match against Preston. The Hatters are six points behind the “safe zone”, ahead of the visit of the Lilywhites, meaning that Saturday’s clash is of big importance for the relegation strugglers. Luton Town are a real force to be reckoned with at home, but it has to be noted that there will be no spectators at Kenilwoarth Road this time out.
The Lilywhites suffered a 3-1 defeat to QPR in their last match before the coronavirus break, with the team extending their losing run in the English second tier to three games. The promotion-chasing visitors are eager to get back on course, and given Luton’s shaky defence, they will not have a better chance than this to do so.

Highlighted Player (Jacob Butterfield):

Born in Bradford, England on June 10, 1990, Jacob Butterfield is a professional footballer who started his youth career at his hometown club Bradford City before joining Manchester United. In 2005 Butterfield moved to Barnsley football academy and he continued playing for the Tykes senior team.
After scoring 8 goals in 89 appearances for Barnsley in the league, the 180-cm tall midfielder moved to Norwich City, but he was immediately sent on loan to Bolton Wanderers. Jacob Butterfield played for the likes of Crystal Palace (loan), Middlesbrough, Huddersfield Town, Derby County, Sheffield Wednesday (loan) and Bradford City (loan) before signing a contract with Luton Town.
Seeing that the Hatters secured promotion to the Championship, Jacob Butterfield will play in the English second tier in the 2019/2020 season. His main position is central midfield, but he is used as an attacking midfielder as well. His preferred foot is right.
Highlighted Team (Preston):

Preston North End or Preston were founded in 1880. The Lilywhites or the Invincibles play their home games at Deepdale, the stadium that was built in 1875 and opened three years later.
In 1889 Preston won their first FA Cup trophy and they did well to beat Huddersfield Town in the final of the 1938 FA Cup final. However, the club’s biggest success came in 1889 and 1890 when they won back-to-back domestic trophies (First Division).
Preston have yet to win the League Cup title, but they were runners-up in 1888, 1922, 1937, 1954, 1964. Preston’s main rivals are Blackpool and the two teams square off against each other in the West Lancashire derby. In their first ever meeting in the West Lancashire derby (1901) Preston recorded a 4-1 win over Blackpool.
Burnley and Blackburn Rovers are considered Preston’s big rivals as well. The colour of Preston’s shirts is white and they wear dark blue shorts.
