Our football match prediction:
There will be fireworks when Norwich City and Newcastle United face each other at Carrow Road on day 32 of the current Championship campaign. The Canaries have found their best form of late and they will be looking to build on a 5-1 win over Forest when they face the league leaders. Norwich City are a real force to be reckoned with at home and that is the main reason why we predict Alex Neil’s team will grab something from Tuesday’s football match. Newcastle United are on the right track to secure automatic promotion to the Premier League, but Rafa Benitez must warn his men against complacency. Considering that the visitors would be happy with one point from the Carrow Road clash as well, share of spoils appears on the cards. In previous three meetings between the two teams in the Championship 20 goals were netted, meaning that fans should see a lively contest on Tuesday evening.
Highligted Player (Yanic Wildschut):
Yanic-Sonny Wildschut is a Dutch football player who was born in Amsterdam on 1 November, 1991. He was part of Ajax academy during his youth career and he made his senior debut for Zwolle in the Jupiler League. After playing 33 matches for Zwolle, the pacey winger joined VVV-Venlo on 29 June, 2011 and in 2013 he moved to Heerenveen. He was soon sent on loan to ADO Den Haag and after making seven appearances for the club, he joined English side Middlesbrough on 1 September, 2014. Wildschut scored his first goal for the Boro in a 3-0 victory over Rotherham on 1 November, 2014. However, he played just 12 games for Middlesbrough in the Championship. On 2 October, 2015 he was sent on loan to Wigan Athletic and three months later he signed a permanent deal with the Latics. You should have in mind that Yanic has 10 caps for Netherlands U21 team. Wildschut is a winger, but he is capable of playing as a centre forward as well.
Highlighted Team (Newcastle United):
Newcastle United failed to impress in the 2015/2016 Premier League campaign and, as a result, they dropped to the English second tier. The Magpies will host their rivals at their St. James’ Park in the 2016/2017 Championship campaign and it has to be noted that the capacity of the stadium is 52,354. Newcastle United have won four domestic trophies (1904/1905, 1906/1907, 1908/1909, 1926/1927), while lifting six FA Cup titles (1910, 1924, 1932, 1951, 1952, 1955) and a number of star players were part of the St. James’ Park outfit in the past. David Ginola, Michael Owen, Alan Shearer, Les Ferdinand, Nolberto Solano, Gary Speed, Obafemi Martins and Kevin Nolan are notable footballers who are still remembered at the club. Newcastle’s fiercest rivals are Sunderland and there have always been fireworks when the two local rivals face each other in the Tyne-Wear derby. The colour of Newcastle’s home kit is black and white.
