Our football match prediction:
Nottingham Forest will be aiming to put an end to their five-game goalless run when they host Brentford at their City Ground on Matchday 42. The Reds have been struggling in front of goal of late and, no doubt, they are eager to give fans something to cheer about. Nottingham Forest have little to play for in the season finale, but they certainly want to finish the 2017/2018 Championship campaign in style. The Bees, on the other hand, do not want to give up on their play-offs dream and they are likely to fight tooth and nail against Nottingham Forest. Brentford are five points behind top six in the Championship standings and we predict that they are going to extend their winning run in the league to three games. In their last away match in the Championship Brentford recorded a hard-fought 1-0 win over Bristol City.

Highlighted Player (Eric Lichaj):
Eric Lichaj is a full back who is capable of playing on both sides of the field. Lichaj was born in Downers Grove, USA on 17 November, 1988 and he started his youth career at IMG Academy. After spending one year at the University of North Carolina, he signed a deal with Aston Villa in 2007. He made his competitive debut for the Villans on 19 August, 2010, in the Europa League qualifier against Rapid Wien (1-1). Lichaj made 32 league appearances for Aston Villa, scoring one goal, and he played for the likes of Lincoln City, Leyton Oriend and Leeds United on loan as well. On 19 June, 2013 he signed a two-year contract with Nottingham Forest and he made his debut for the Reds in a 1-0 victory over Huddersfield Town in the opening match of the 2013/2014 Championship campaign. Speaking of his international career, Lichaj was named in the USA U20 squad for the 2007 FIFA World Cup, but he was eventually forced to withdraw from the squad through injury. The defender made his debut for the USA senior team on 12 October, 2010 in a warm-up game against Colombia.

Highlighted Team (Brentford):

Based in London, Brentford compete in the Championship and they were founded in 1898. Griffin Park has been the home ground of the club since 1904 and the capacity of the venue is 12,300. The Bees have yet to play in the Premier League and it has to be noted that they made it to the FA Cup sixth round on four occasions (1937/1938, 1945/1946,1948/1949, 1988/1989). Brentford played in the League Cup round 4 in the 1982/1983 and 2010/2011 season and that is the club’s biggest success in the competition. Brentford’s main rivals are Fulham and Queens Park Rangers and they take on each other in the West London Derby. The rivalry with the Cottagers is probably the biggest and you should bear in mind that the clashes between the two teams have always been marred by crowd violence. The colour of Brenftord’s shirts is red and white and they wear black shorts.
