Our football match prediction:
The City Ground will host the match between two out-of-form teams Nottingham Forest and Fulham. The Reds are on a three-game losing run in all competitions, with the team conceding 2+ goals in previous four league fixtures. Forest were beaten by Sheffield Wednesday at Hillsborough at the weekend, but it has to be noted that the Owls scored the winner in the dying minutes of the game. Anyhow, the Reds are low on confidence ahead of Tuesday’s football match against Fulham. The Cottagers suffered a heavy 4-0 loss to Bristol City at the weekend and, no doubt, the capital club are desperate to grab something from the Nottingham Forest clash. Both teams are likely to go for a win this time out and we predict that over 2.5 goals will be scored in the City Ground showdown. Taking everything into account, the two teams should play out a high-scoring draw on Matchday 10.
Highligted Player (Henri Lansbury):
Henri Lansbury began his youth career at Norwich City, but he soon moved to Arsenal. Lansbury made his first-team debut for the Gunners on 31 October, 2007 in the League Cup win over Sheffield United. It has to be noted that he came from the bench and replaced Theo Walcott. After spending three years on loan at Scunthorpe United, Watford, Norwich City and West Ham United, the 183-cm-tall midfielder signed a four-year deal with Nottingham Forest on 28 August, 2012. He has established himself as a first-team regular and he made 128 league appearances for the Reds before the start of the 2016/2017 Championship campaign. Henri Lansbury has 21 caps for England U21 team and he used to play for England U16, U17 and U19 teams in the past as well. In September 2011, he produced his best performance for the U21 team in a thrilling 6-0 win over Azerbaijan. Lansbury scored a brace against Azerbaijan and provided two assists for his teammates back then.
Highlighted Team (Fulham):
Fulham are a club from London that play in the Championship. The capital club dropped to the English second tier at the end of the 2013/2014 Premier League campaign after failing to impress in the elite competition. Fulham were founded in 1879 and they play their home matches at Craven Cottage. Fulham are the oldest-established club from the English capital to have played in the top flight. Fulham finished the 2008/2009 Premier League campaign in seventh place in the standings and that is considered the team’s biggest success, speaking of their participation in the Premier League. The Cottagers played in the Europa League twice and they did well to reach the FA Cup final in 1975, but they were beaten by their local rivals West Ham United in the title game (0-2). Chelsea are regarded as Fulham’s bitter rivals as well and the two teams take on each other in the North London derby.
