Our prediction for this Championship match:
Reading will be looking to bounce back from a 2-1 loss to Derby County when they take on Nottingham Forest at the City Ground on day 2 of the new Championship campaign. The Royals aim to get back on course as quicker as possible and we predict that they are going to fight tooth and nail against Nottingham Forest, who shared the spoils with Bristol City in the opening match of the season. However, given the quality of the home side, Reading face an uphill task in Saturday’s football match and we do not believe that there is a big value in betting on the underdogs. The Reds are determined to return to the Premier League and they must pick up points from matches against bottom-table sides if they are to meet the goal. When the two teams met at the City Ground last term Forest emerged triumphant.

The 182-cm-tall attacker then moved to Germany, signing a deal with 1860 Munchen and it has to be noted that he netted six goals in 15 appearances for the Lions. At the end of the 2013/2014 season Yuya Osako joined Koln and he has been playing for the Billy Goats ever since. Highlighted Team (Reading):

Reading FC is a professional football club that play in the Championship. The club was formed in 1871 and Madejski Stadium has been the home of Reading since 1998. The Royals used to play their home games at Elm Park in the past (1896 - 1998). Reading made it to the FA Cup semi-finals on two occasions (1927, 2015), but they have yet to win the prestigious trophy.
The likes of Robin Friday, Trevor Senior, Steve Death, Shaka Hislop, Phil Parkinson, Alf Messer, Jimmy Quinn, Michael Gilkes, Ronnie Blackman, Pavel Pogrebnyak and Martin Hicks are some of their more notable footballers. Aldershot Town were considered Reading’s fiercest rivals, but the Shots went out of business in 1992.
Seeing that Aldershot rejoined the league in 2008 it remains to be seen if the rivalry is going to be re-established in near future. Swindon Town and Oxford United are considered Reading’s big rivals as well.
