Our prediction for this Championship match:
Preston and Blackburn face each other in a highly-anticipated game at Deepdale on day 13 of the new Championship campaign. Preston defeated ten-man Sheffield Wednesday at the weekend, with the team climbing to the top half of the table. The Lilywhites aim to keep on climbing the standings, and we are positive that they will go all guns blazing at the Riversiders in the midweek clash. Ireland international Browne has been tested positive for coronavirus, while Davies, Hughes, and Moult are all sidelined with injury.
Blackburn head into the match following a 1-1 draw with Luton. The Riversiders are undefeated in the previous three league fixtures, but they will have a big fish to fry in the Deepdale clash. Preston are brimming with confidence ahead of the visit of Blackburn, and seeing that the likes of Bennett, Dack, Kaminski, and Travis are all likely to miss the game, home win should be considered.

Highlighted Player (Alan Browne):

Alan Browne is a Republic of Ireland international who plays for Preston North End as a central midfielder. Born in Cork on April 15, 1999, Browne began his youth career at Ringmahon Rangers, but he soon moved to his hometown club Cork City.
Despite being part of the Cork City senior team, he did not enjoy first-team football with the Rebel Army. On January 1, 2014 Alan Browne signed a deal with Preston North End in the League One and one year later he helped the Lilywhites beat Preston in the play-off final and secure promotion to the Championship.
The 179-cm-tall midfielder has established himself as a first-team regular at Preston and it has to be noted that he played for the Ireland national team in the past as well. Alan Browne made his Republic of Ireland debut on February 6, 2017 in a friendly game against Mexico.
