Our prediction for this Championship match:
Preston did well to crush Barnsley 5-1 on Matchday 11, but they picked up only one point in total from previous two league fixtures. The Lilywhites are on a nine-game unbeaten run at home in the Championship and that is surely giving fans a reason for optimism ahead of the visit of Blackburn Rovers. The Riversiders are on a five-match winless run in the English second tier and it is no surprise they are considered underdogs in the Deepdale clash.
Preston are determined to stay in the race for automatic promotion to the Premier League and we predict that they will prove their worth on the field in Saturday’s football game against Blackburn Rovers. A man to keep an eye on in the home team will be Jamaica international Daniel Johnson, who has netted seven goals in the Championship so far this term.
