Our prediction for this Championship match:
Queens Park Rangers will be aiming to bounce back from a 3-0 loss to Bristol City when they host Wigan Athletic at their Loftus Road Stadium on Saturday afternoon. The Hoops suffered a loss in each of their first four games of the season, meaning that coach Steven McClaren is under big pressure ahead of the visit of Wigan. Queens Park Rangers conceded ten goals in back-to-back defeats and, no doubt, they need to improve defensively if they are to move away from the relegation zone. The Latics, on the other hand, rolled over Stoke City (3-0) at Bet365 Stadium on Wednesday evening, with the team recording their second win of the season. Their next rivals QPR do not seem to be on top of their game at the moment and we predict that the visitors are going to take advantage of the situation.

Highlighted Player (Massimo Luongo):

Born in Sydney, Australia on September 25, 1992 Massimo Luongo attended Waverley College. In 2009 he won the championship with the team and two years later he was spotted by Tottenham Hotspur scouts. In January 2011 Luongo, whose mother is of Indonesian heritage, impressed on trial with Spurs and, as a result, he remained at White Hart Lane. However, did not see any game action for Tottenham Hotspur during his spell with the capital club.
After ending his loan spells with Ipswich Town and Swindon Town, the 176-cm-tall midfielder signed permanent deal with the Robins and you should know that he scored 10 goals in 76 appearances in the league for the club.
In 2015 he returned to London, with the Australian international joining Queens Park Rangers. Luongo scored his first goal for the Hoops in a 5-1 win over Rotherham United on March 18, 2017. The QPR footballer made his Australia debut on March 6, 2014 in a 4-3 defeat to Ecuador. In 2015 he won the AFC Asian Cup with the Socceroos.
Highlighted Team (Wigan Athletic):

Wigan Athletic are one of the winners of the English FA Cup. The Latics won the prestigious trophy in 2013, with the team upsetting Manchester City in the title game. This is considered the club’s biggest success, but it has to be noted that Wigan played in the UEFA Europa League in the 2013/2014 season.
Wigan have been playing their home games at the DW Stadium since 1999 and they had played at Springfield Park in the past. Chorley are considered Wigan’s fierce rivals, but the two teams last met in 1971, when they competed in the Northern Premier League. The likes of Preston North End, Bury, Oldham Athletic, Burnley and Blackburn Rovers are regarded as Wigan Athletic’s rivals as well.
The club was founded in 1932 and they competed in the English Premier League from 2005 to 2013. The colour of Wigan’s home kit is blue and white (stripes).
