Our football match prediction:
Despite creating a number of clear-cut chances to score in their opener against Norwich City, Fulham eventually played out a 1-1 draw with Reading at their Craven Cottage. Anyhow, the Cottagers should be considered one of the main candidates for promotion as coach Slavisa Jokanovic has a number of high-profile players to choose from. The capital club aim to record their first win of the season, but Saturday’s football match against Reading will be anything but a walk in the park for the visitors. Reading suffered a 2-0 loss to QPR at Loftus Road in their opener and, no doubt, they are desperate to make amends for the defeat. The Royals were impressive at home ground in the 2016/2017 Championship campaign and considering that Fulham experienced all sorts of problems at the back in the 1-1 draw with Norwich City, we predict that the hosts will find the net on day 2.
Highlighted Player (Jordan Obita):
Jordan Obita is a left-back who plays for Reading in the Championship. Obita is capable of playing as a winger as well and he is a left-footed player. He was born in Oxford and, as expected, he had trials with his home-town club, but he eventually signed a deal with Reading. He joined the Reading youth academy at age of 8 and he made his senior debut for the Royals on 11 August, 2010. He came from the bench in the League Cup clash against Torquay United and he made his first start against Charlton Athletic in the same competition in the 2011/2012 season. Obita spent several years on loan at Barnet, Gillingham, Portsmouth and Oldham Athletic, but he is still a Reading player. He has a contract with the Madejski Stadium outfit until 30 June. 2018. Jordan Obita has two caps for England U20 and he played for the U18 an U19 teams in the past as well. The Reading left-back was named the Player of the Season for the 2013/2014 Championship campaign.
Highlighted Team (Fulham):
Fulham are a club from London that play in the Championship. The capital club dropped to the English second tier at the end of the 2013/2014 Premier League campaign after failing to impress in the elite competition. Fulham were founded in 1879 and they play their home matches at Craven Cottage. Fulham are the oldest-established club from the English capital to have played in the top flight. Fulham finished the 2008/2009 Premier League campaign in seventh place in the standings and that is considered the team’s biggest success, speaking of their participation in the Premier League. The Cottagers played in the Europa League twice and they did well to reach the FA Cup final in 1975, but they were beaten by their local rivals West Ham United in the title game (0-2). Chelsea are regarded as Fulham’s bitter rivals as well and the two teams take on each other in the North London derby.
