Our prediction for this Championship match:
WBA and Aston Villa face each other at the Hawthorns in the local derby. Both teams are eyeing promotion to the Premier League and we predict that both sides will adopt an attack-minded approach in Friday’s football game. The Baggies have been scoring goals for fun of late, but the game against their bitter local rivals will be anything but a walk in the park for the hosts. The Villans, on the other hand, did well to crush Middlesbrough 3-0 on the road in their last league fixture and you should bear in mind that they scored 15 goals in total in previous four league matches. Abraham, who scored his 11th goal of the season at the weekend, will be the man to watch in the away team. Anyhow, seeing that WBA are a real force to be reckoned with at home, we believe that there is a big value in betting on both teams to score.

Highlighted Player (Sam Johnstone):

Sam Johnstone is an English goalkeeper who plays for West Bromwich Albion in the Championship. Sam Johnstone was born in Preston on March 25, 1993, but he began his youth career at Manchester United. However, despite being a Manchester United player, Johnstone did not see any game action with the Red Devils at senior level.
After spending seven years on loan at Oldam Athletic, Scunthorpe United, Walsall, Yeovil Town, Doncaster Rovers, Preston and Aston Villa, Sam Johnstone signed a four-year contract with West Bromwich Albion for a fee of around £6.5 million. The 193-cm tall shot-stopper wears No. 1 jersey and he has already established himself as a first-team regular at the Hawthorns outfit.
Sam Johnstone represented England at youth level, playing for England U16, U17, U19 and U20 teams, but he has yet to make his debut with the senior team. Sam Johnstone’s preferred foot is right and his contract with West Bromwich Albion should expire on June 30, 2022.
Highlighted Team (Aston Villa):

Aston Villa is one of the three clubs that dropped to the Championship at the end of the 2015/2016 Premier League campaign. The Villans host their rivals at Villa Park, the stadium that was opened in 1897 and its’ capacity is 42,682. However, it has to be noted that the highest attendance recorded at the stadium was 76,588 when Aston Villa faced Derby County in the FA Cup back in 1946.
Aston Villa’s fiercest rivals are Birmingham City and West Bromwich Albion. Nonetheless, the rivalry between Aston Villa and Wolves and Coventry City is big as well. Aston Villa have won seven First Division (Premier League) trophies, with the team clinching seven FA Cup trophies as well.
The team’s biggest success, though, came in 1982 when they won the European Cup. The Villans defeated Bayern Munich (1-0) in the title game and Peter Withe was named the man of the match.
