Our prediction for this Championship match:
West Bromwich Albion will be aiming to extend their winning run in the Championship to four games when they host Sheffield Wednesday at the Hawthorns on Matchday 25. The Baggies have been scoring goals for fun of late, but they have yet to overtake Norwich City in second position in the standings, which leads to promotion. WBA are seen as hot favourites to win Saturday’s football game against Sheffield Wednesday, but the Owls should not be underestimated. Lee Bullen’s troops did well to beat Preston and Middlesbrough in previous two league fixtures, meaning that they are brimming with confidence ahead of the trip to West Bromwich. Anyhow, the Baggies are a real force to be reckoned with at home and seeing that this game is of big importance for them, we are tempted to put our money on Darren Moore’s troops.

Highlighted Player (Sam Johnstone):

Sam Johnstone is an English goalkeeper who plays for West Bromwich Albion in the Championship. Sam Johnstone was born in Preston on March 25, 1993, but he began his youth career at Manchester United. However, despite being a Manchester United player, Johnstone did not see any game action with the Red Devils at senior level.
After spending seven years on loan at Oldam Athletic, Scunthorpe United, Walsall, Yeovil Town, Doncaster Rovers, Preston and Aston Villa, Sam Johnstone signed a four-year contract with West Bromwich Albion for a fee of around £6.5 million. The 193-cm tall shot-stopper wears No. 1 jersey and he has already established himself as a first-team regular at the Hawthorns outfit.
Sam Johnstone represented England at youth level, playing for England U16, U17, U19 and U20 teams, but he has yet to make his debut with the senior team. Sam Johnstone’s preferred foot is right and his contract with West Bromwich Albion should expire on June 30, 2022.
Highlighted Team (Sheffield Wednesday):

Sheffield Wednesday are one of the two famous clubs from the city of Sheffield (South Yorkshire). The Owls compete in the English second tier (Championship) and they play their home matches at Hillsborough.
The venue was the scene of the Hillsborough disaster which occurred in 1989 when 96 Liverpool supporters were crushed to death in the FA Cup semi-final. It has to be noted that the World Cup (1966) and the Euro (1996) matches were played at Hillsborough.
Sheffield Wednesday have won four First Division trophies (1902/2903, 1903/1904, 1928/1929, 1929/2930) and they finished the 1960/1961 campaign in second place in the standings. The Owls have clinched three FA Cup trophies (1896, 1907, 1935), with the team winning the League Cup in 1991.
Sheffield Wednesday defeated English giants Manchester United (1-0) in the title game. Sheffield United are regarded as the Owls’ main rivals and the two teams face each other in the Steel City derby.
