Our prediction for this Championship match:
The DW Stadium will host Saturday’s football game between Wigan Athletic and Reading, the two teams who are sitting in the danger zone in the Championship standings. Wigan made a fine start to the season, but all of a sudden they suffered a dip in form. The Latics are on a four-game losing run in the English second tier, meaning that Saturday’s clash against Reading is of big importance for them. In their last home game in the league Wigan Athletic suffered a 2-1 loss to Leeds United. Reading, on the other hand, have been scoring goals for fun of late. Following a 3-2 win over Bristol City, they played out a high-scoring 2-2 draw with Ipswich Town in their last league match and we predict that they are going to stick to their attacking style of play against Wigan. Anyhow, seeing that the Latics are generally tough to beat at home, share of spoils is on the horizon.

Highlighted Player (Callum McManaman):

A Merseyside-born winger, Callum McManaman made his first football steps over at Goodison before getting released by Everton in 2007. As a youth player he moved on to join Wigan Athletic where he was handed his professional debut in 2009.
McManaman made an instant impression at his club earning a man of the Match title in the FA Cup final against Manchester City in 2013. Having led his club to their first-ever FA Cup title, McManaman went on to amass 109 appearances for Wigan across all competitions and score 17 goals.
A two-year stint at West Bromwich Albion turned into a proper disappointment for Callum McManaman who also went on to represent Sheffield Wednesday in a brief loan spell and played the total of 24 matches for Sunderland in the 2017/18 season. Wigan Athletic re-signed the winger in the summer of 2018 hoping to latch on a special connection the player has with the club and the fans.
Highlighted Team (Reading):

Reading FC is a professional football club that play in the Championship. The club was formed in 1871 and Madejski Stadium has been the home of Reading since 1998. The Royals used to play their home games at Elm Park in the past (1896 - 1998). Reading made it to the FA Cup semi-finals on two occasions (1927, 2015), but they have yet to win the prestigious trophy.
The likes of Robin Friday, Trevor Senior, Steve Death, Shaka Hislop, Phil Parkinson, Alf Messer, Jimmy Quinn, Michael Gilkes, Ronnie Blackman, Pavel Pogrebnyak and Martin Hicks are some of their more notable footballers. Aldershot Town were considered Reading’s fiercest rivals, but the Shots went out of business in 1992.
Seeing that Aldershot rejoined the league in 2008 it remains to be seen if the rivalry is going to be re-established in near future. Swindon Town and Oxford United are considered Reading’s big rivals as well.
