Our football match prediction:
Despite being regarded as hot favourites to beat Alashkert in front of home fans in Belarus, BATE played out a 1-1 draw with the Armenian outfit at their Borisov Arena. Aleksandr Yermakovich’s men played below expectations in the first leg and they will have to be at their sharpest in Tueday’s football match in Yerevan if they are to make it to the Champions League third qualifying round. A goalless draw would see Alashkert book their place in round 3 and we predict that the hosts are going to adopt a defence-minded approach in the return leg. A close encounter appears on the cards and we would not be surprised if the game go into extra time. Alexei Rios, who scored both the opener for BATE in the first leg and the own goal, will be the man to watch in the away team. Taking everything into account, there is a big value in betting on draw.
