Our prediction for this Champions League match:
Atletico Madrid will be aiming to record yet another win over Monaco when the two teams face each other at Estadio Wanda Metropolitano on Wednesday evening. Los Rojiblancos quickly bounced back from a heavy 4-0 loss to Borussia Dortmund, with the team beating the Millionaires in Madrid and they must be high on confidence ahead of the visit of Monaco. It is well known that Diego Simeone’s men are a real force to be reckoned with at home and given the situation in the French club, we believe that there is a big value in betting on the hosts. Thierry Henry’s men have been struggling in all competitions this season and we do not believe that they are capable of spoiling Atletico Madrid’s party at Estadio Wanda Metropolitano. When the two teams met in Monaco earlier in the process the Spaniards recorded a 2-1 win over the French side.
Highlighted Player (Diego Costa):

Diego Costa is a Brazilian-born attacker who plays for Spain. “The Tasmanian devil” decided to switch his allegiance to the Spain national team, but he did not make Spain Euro 2016 squad. The controversial forward is well known for his bad-tempered affairs and he is considered one of the most disliked men in the world of football.
Diego Costa began his senior career at Braga and he used to play for the likes of Penafiel, Celta Vigo, Albacete, Real Valladolid, Rayo Vallecano and Atletico Madrid in the past as well. Costa currently plays for Chelsea and he impressed in the 2014/2015 Premier League campaign with the Stamford Bridge outfit, scoring 20 goals in the English top flight. However, he was struggling to find his best form in the 2015/2016 campaign and it is no surprise he netted just 12 goals for Chelsea in the national championship.
Diego Costa won Spanish La Liga with Atletico Madrid in 2014 and he participated in the Champions League final against Real Madrid the same season. On the other hand, he clinched the Premier League trophy with Chelsea in 2015.
Highlighted Team (Monaco):

Though based in Monaco, Les Rouges et Blances – as they are commonly referred to – play their games in the French football league system. Members of the top tier Ligue 1, Monaco play their home matches at the Stade Louis II in Fontvieille in front of 18,500 people. The Principality club boasts a turbulent history, which saw Monaco reach the highest heights of both domestic and international scene, but also get relegated to the amateur leagues at the very beginnings and to Ligue 2 in 2010-11 season.
The following year AS Monaco were acquired by the Russian billionaire Dmitry Rybolovlev, whose heavy investments turned the Principality club into one of the biggest spenders in Europe in 2013 and reestablishing its place among Europe’s top clubs.
AS Monaco have had notable European results in the modern football era having been runners-up in the UEFA Cup Winners’ Cup in 1992 and the UEFA Champions League in 2004. One of the most successful clubs in France AS Monaco have so far won seven league titles and five Coupe de France trophies.
