Our prediction for this Champions League match:
Estadio do Sport Lisboa e Benfica will host Wednesday’s football game between Benfica and Ajax, the two teams who are determined to book their place in the last 16 of the Champions League. The Eagles are eyeing their second win of the process and they will be looking to get their revenge on Ajax for a 1-0 loss at Amsterdam Arena when the two teams face each other in Lisbon. Over the years the Portuguese side have turned their stadium into a real fortress, which is probably the main reason why home win should be considered. The Amsterdammers have been producing fine performances in all competitions, but Benfica want this win more than Ajax and we are tempted to put our money on Rui Vitoria’s troops. You should bear in mind that the Dutch side recorded only one win in previous six away games in the Champions League.
Highlighted Player (Gabriel Pires):

Gabriel Appelt Pires is a Brazilian footballer who play for Leganes in Spanish La Liga. Pires is a product of Vasco da Gama’s youth school, but he made his senior debut at Resende. In 2012 he signed for Juventus for a fee of €2 million, but he was immediately sent on loan to Pro Vercelli.
After spending several seasons on loan at Pro Vercelli, Spezia, Pescara and Livorno he signed a loan deal with Leganes for the 2015/2016 Segunda Division campaign. The 183-cm-tall midfielder scored seven goals in 37 appearances for Leganes in the Spanish second tier and, as a result, the club chiefs decided to sign a permanent deal with him.
Gabriel is an attacking midfielder, but he is capable of playing as a central midfielder as well. His brother Guilherme is a football player as well. Gabriel is a left-footed player, while his brother prefers playing with his right foot. They were born in Resende, Brazil.
Highlighted Team (Ajax):

Ajax is a Dutch football club that was founded on 18 March, 1900. Ajax are well known for their youth academy, which regarded as one of the best youth football schools in the world. The likes of Johan Cruijff, Edwin van der Sar, Dennis Bergkamp, Patrick Kluivert, Rafael van der Vaart and Marco van Basten are all products of Ajax’s football academy. The Amsterdammers share a big rivalry with Feyenoord and there have always been fireworks when the two teams face each other in De Klassieker.
During the seventies Feyenoord and Ajax were the only two teams who were capable of winning the domestic trophies, while PSV have been playing an important role in Dutch football in the 21st century. PSV and Ajax are regarded as big rivals as well and the two teams square off against each other in De Topper. Ajax play their home games at Amsterdam ArenA, the stadium that was opened on 14 August, 1996. The Amsterdammers won their fourth European Cup (Champions League) trophy in 1995, beating Milan in the title game in Vienna.
