Our match prediction:
The 3-1 defeat to Bayern Munich initiated a three-match losing run for the Russian side FK Rostov, who will be keen to bounce back to winning ways and build up on their 1-0 win over Lokomotiv Moscow last time out. Rostov have been pitted in a highly competitive group and will have plenty of problems to make their presence known against the likes of Bavarian giants or Atletico Madrid. Still their two matches against PSV might be their only chance to save the European season and with Europa League place at stake, Russian will give their best to record a win during the week. It will be easier said than done with PSV as the more experienced team Europe-wise. Despite their opening loss to Atletico Madrid, Dutch side will have to be considered firm favourites to claim all three points far East. Long trip and different weather conditions might not work in their favour and must be taken into consideration when making a prediction for this clash.
