Our prediction for this Champions League match:
After dropping two points in a 1-1 draw with Atalanta, Manchester City will be looking to return to winning ways in Group C when they host Shakhtar Donetsk at their Etihad Stadium. The Citizens are five points clear of the Ukrainian champions in the standings, meaning that a win would see the Premier League side clinch top position in Group C.
Over the years Pep Guardiola’s troops have turned their Etihad Stadium into a real fortress, and we are positive that they are going to pick up all three points from Tuesday’s football match. Shakhtar Donetsk, on the other hand, are level on points with third-placed Dinamo Zagreb, meaning that the game against Man City is of big importance for the visitors. However, since the Citizens are eager to make amends for a slow start to the new Premier League season, home win should be considered.
Highlighted Player (Raheem Sterling):

Raheem Sterling is an English professional footballer plays for Manchester City in the Premier League. The winger who is known for his lightning pace and dribbling ability started his youth career as a five-year-old playing for Alpha and Omega. In 2003, he joined QPR's youth academy and spent seven years with them before signing for Liverpool in 2010.
At Liverpool, Sterling made his professional debut, coming on as a substitute in a league match against Wigan Athletic on the 24th of March, 2012. He went on to make over 120 appearances in all competitions for the Reds, scoring 23 goals and providing 25 assists in the process. In August 2015, Sterling joined Manchester City on a transfer worth 49 million pounds, which made the most expensive English footballer at the time.
Since signing for the Citizens, Sterling has enjoyed a trophy-laden career winning every English domestic trophy available and has molded himself into one of the best players in the league. Sterling, who was born in Kingston, Jamaica, holds both the English and Jamaican citizenship but chose to represent England at the International stage. The 24-year-old has capped at every youth level and won his first cap for the senior team on the 14th of November, 2012. He has since featured 53 times for the Three Lions.
Highlighted Team (Shakhtar):

Despite the fact that they were founded back in 1936, Shakhtar Donetsk were struggling to win the Ukrainian Premier League trophy until 2002. The Miners have established themselves as the dominant force in Ukrainian football and it has to be noted that they won their ninth domestic trophy in 2014.
Shakhtar Donetsk were playing at Donbass Arena in the past, but due to war in Donbass the club temporarily moved to Arena Lviv. In 2009 the Miners won the UEFA Cup trophy under Romanian boss Mircea Lucescu, beating Werder Bremen in the title game. Croatian full back Dario Srna was named the man of the match. Dynamo Kiev are considered Shakhtar Donetsk’s main rivals and there have always been fireworks in meetings between the two sides.
Shakhtar have a rivalry with Metalurh Donetsk as well and the two local rivals face each other in the Donetsk Derby. Chelsea ace Willian, Manchester United star Mkhitaryan and Manchester City midfielder Fernandinho all played for Shakhtar in the past.
