Our football match prediction:
Against all odds, Barcelona hammered Manchester City at their Camp Nou in their third group game, but beating the Citizens on the road is easier said than done. Pep Guardiola’s men head into Tuesday’s football match following a 4-0 win at West Bromwich Albion and they are certainly capable of making life difficult for the Catalan giants at their Etihad Stadium. Kun Aguero impressed in the 4-0 victory over WBA and he is likely to start for the Citizens this time out after he came as a substitute in the Camp Nou clash. Barca aim to keep their 100% record in Group C intact, but we predict that the La Liga champions will pick up no more than one point from Tuesday’s Champions League game. Given the attacking potential of the two teams, there is every chance we will see a high-scoring affair in the blue part of Manchester this time out.
Highligted Player (Kompany):
Vincent Kompany is regarded as one of the best defenders in the world of football. The Belgian ace was born on 10 April, 1986 and he is capable of playing as centre back and defensive midfielder. Kompany began his youth career at Anderlecht and in 2006 he arrived to Germany to play for Bundesliga side Hamburger SV. Two years later he signed for Manchester City for a fee of £6 million. The Man City defender has won two Premier League trophies with the Etihad Stadium outfit (2011/2012, 2013/2014) and he made it to the Champions League semis in the 2015/2016 season with the Citizens. Vicent Kompany was named the Premier League player of the season in the 2011/2012 campaign and it has to be noted that he was awarded the captaincy of Man City back then. The Belgium international married Carla Higgs in 2011, who gave birth to their two children (daughter and son).
Highlighted Team (Barcelona):
Barcelona are a Spanish football club based in Barcelona, Catalonia. Barca were founded in 1899 and they are regarded as one of the greatest clubs in world football. The Catalan giants won their 24th La Liga title in 2016, with Luis Suarez winning “El Pichichi” award. Barcelona have won five European Cup trophies and a number of top-class players were part of the team in the past. The likes of Hristo Stoichkov, Romario, Rivaldo, Ronaldinho, Ronaldo, Johan Cruyff, Diego Maradona and Pep Guardiola are some of many players that played for Barca in the past, but, no doubt, Leo Messi has established himself as the club’s trademark. Barcelona welcome their rivals at Camp Nou, the stadium that was built in 1957. Barcelona’s local rivals are Espanyol, but the rivalry between Barca and Real Madrid is much bigger. The two La Liga giants face each other in “El Clasico”, which is considered one of the most exciting derbies in the world football. Barca are famous for their football youth school La Masia as well.
