Our football match prediction:
All eyes will be on Parc des Princes when PSG and Liverpool face each other in the Group C derby. Les Parisiens are desperate to pick up all three points from Wednesday’s football game as they are sitting in third place in the standings, but this match will be anything but a walk in the park for Thomas Tuchel’s troops. Seeing that Kylian Mbappe and Neymar are both rated doubtful for the Liverpool game, we do not believe that there is a big value in betting on the hosts. Jurgen Klopp’s troops aim to bounce back from an embarrassing 2-0 loss to Crvena zvezda and we believe that they should be happy with one point from the Parc des Princes showdown. When the two teams met at Anfield earlier in the process they played out a thrilling 2-2 draw and yet another high-scoring affair is on the horizon.
Highlighted Player (Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting):
Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting is a Cameroonian footballer who plays for Schalke 04 as a winger. Choupo-Moting joined die Knappen in 2014, but he played for fellow German sides Mainz, Nurnberg and Hamburger in the past as well. He was part of FC St. Pauli during his youth career. The Cameroonian international, who was born in Altona, Hamburg, represented the Indomitable Lions at the 2010 FIFA World Cup and he made the Cameroon 2014 World Cup squad as well. Choupo-Moting is well known for his speed and he often makes life difficult for the opposition defenders. His main position is left wing, but he is capable of playing as a centre forward as well. Choupo-Moting scored six goals in 28 appearances for Schalke in the 2015/2016 Bundesliga campaign, but many people believe that he was producing much better performances with Mainz. The Cameroonian attacker scored 10 goals in 32 league appearances for die Nullfunfer in the 2013/2014 season. Choupo-Moting, who was born on 23 Match, 1989, began his youth career at Teutonia 05.
Highlighted Team (Liverpool):
Founded back in 1892, Liverpool are one of England’s and world’s most famous clubs. The Reds hold a high-profile rivalry with Everton and there have always been fireworks when the two teams take on each other in the Merseyside derby. The Reds welcome their opponents at Anfield and it has to be noted that they have already won 18 first division trophies. Liverpool were on the verge of lifting the 2014/2015 Premier League trophy, but Steven Gerrard slipped in the decider against Chelsea and left the Reds without a title. Liverpool won their last Champions League trophy in 2005, with the team coming from three goals behind to beat Milan in a historic clash in Istanbul. The Reds have clinched five European Cups and it is no surprise they are regarded as one of the greatest European clubs. The likes of Steven Gerrard, Robbie Fowler, Paul Ince, Ian Rush, Graeme Souness, Sami Hyypia and Luis Suarez are some of the most notable footballers to have represented the club over the years. The club’s anthem is You’ll Never Walk Alone and their shirt colour is red.
