Our football match prediction:
All eyes will be on Parc des Princes when Real Madrid and PSG face each other in the Champions League last 16, return leg. Los Blancos came from behind to beat the star-studded Ligue 1 side at their Estadio Santiago Bernabeu and seeing that PSG superstar Neymar misses the return leg through injury, Zinedine Zidane's men are seen as hot favourites to make it to the quarter-finals of the elite competition. Real Madrid have no chances of winning the La Liga title, meaning that they are going to leave their hearts on the field in Tuesday's football match. Unai Emery's troops, on the other hand, have nothing to lose in the return leg and they are likely to go all guns blazing at Zinedine Zidane's charges. In Neymar's absence, a man to watch in the home team will be Edinson Cavani, but we predict that the Brazilian superstar is going to be sorely missed in the Parc des Princes showdown.
Highlighted Player (Edinson Cavani):
Edinson Cavani is a professional footballer who plays for Paris Saint-Germain as a striker. The Uruguayan attacker was born in Salto on 14 February, 1987 and he began his senior career at Danubio. In 2007 he moved to Europe, signing a deal with Serie A outfit Palermo. After scoring 34 goals in 109 league appearances for the Sicilian outfit, he joined Napoli in 2010. You should have in mind that Cavani scored a brace on his Napoli debut against Elfsborg in the Europa League. The Uruguay forward scored 78 goals in 104 Serie A games for the Partenopei and, as a result, big-spending French club PSG decided to sign him in 2013. Cavani scored 19 goals for les Parisiens in the 2015/2016 Ligue 1 campaign, but he was in Zlatan Ibrahimovic’s shadow during the season and he started a number of games from the bench. In 2011 the PSG attacker won the Copa America trophy with Uruguay as la Celeste hammered Paraguay 3-0 in the game for the title.
Highlighted Team (Real Madrid):
Real Madrid are a Spanish football club based in Madrid. Real Madrid participate in La Liga (Primera Division) and they have won 32 domestic titles. On the other hand, los Blancos have won 11 European Cup titles and that is the main reason why they are considered the biggest football club in the world. Real Madrid play their home matches at Estadio Santiago Bernabeu and the capacity of the stadium is 84,454. Cristiano Ronaldo is the club’s most successful footballer in the 21st century and the Portuguese superstar has won two Golden Ball awards. The likes of Alfredo Di Stefano, Zinedine Zidane, Raul Gonzalez Blanco, David Beckham and Iker Casillas are star players who were part of the Estadio Santiago Bernabeu outfit in the past. Real Madrid’s bitterest rivals are Barcelona, but the rivalry between local rivals Atletico Madrid and Real Madrid is big as well. Real Madrid’s home kit is white and, as a result, the team’s nickname is los Blancos (the Whites).
