Our prediction for this Champions League match:
There will be fireworks when Tottenham and Inter face each other at Wembley Stadium on Wednesday evening in what is expected to be a real football festival. Tottenham desperately needed a win against PSV in their last group game and they managed to get one thanks to Harry Kane’s goal in the dying minutes of the match. Spurs are three points behind Inter in Group B, but a win over the Nerazzurri will see them climb to second position in the standings. The Premier League side are likely to fight tooth and nail against the Italians and seeing that Mauro Pochettino can count on key players for Wednesday’s clash, home win should be considered. Inter are enjoying a very successful season, but Spurs are more of a team that the Nerazzurri, therefore, we believe that Luciano Spalletti’s men are going to return to Milano empty-handed.
Highlighted Player (Heung-min Son):
Over the years Son Heung-min has established himself as one of the best Asian footballers. Son is a Tottenham Hotspur first-team regular and he played a very important role in Mauro Pochettino’s team in the 2017/2018 Premier League campaign, scoring 12 goals, while making 37 appearances in the process. The South Korean footballer, who is well known for his speed and a very powerful shot, was born in Chuncheo on 8 July 1992 and he began his youth career at FC Seoul. In 2008 he moved to Hamburger SV, but he made his senior debut for the Bundesliga club two years later. In 2013 he signed a deal with fellow German side Bayer Leverkusen and he scored 21 goals in 62 appearances in the Bundesliga for the BayArena outfit. In 2015 he signed a five-year contract with Spurs for a fee of £22 million. Son Heung-min made his South Korea debut in a friendly against Syria in 2010.
Highlighted Team (Inter Milan):
Internazionale Milano, known as Internazionale, Inter or Inter named Milan, is a football club from Italy, founded on March 9, 1908 by a number of "rebels" who did not like in the regulations of the Milan Cricket and Football Club, now known as AC Milan. The main objection was that no foreign players were allowed. In 1928 the club merged with US Milanese and strongly entered a time when Ambrosiana-Inter survived.
The club, nicknamed the Nerazzurri or the blue / blacks has had many successes. This is how Inter Milan won 18 national titles, seven times the Italian Cup, the UEFA Cup 3x, and 3x times the Champions League, formerly known as the European Cup I.
