Our prediction for this Copa del Rey match:
A spot in the Copa del Rey last 16 will be at stake when Mirandes and Celta Vigo face each other at Estadio Municipal de Anduva on Thursday evening. Mirandes have been scoring goals for fun in the Spanish Cup this season, with the team netting eight goals in total in back-to-back wins over Coruxo (5-4) and Murcia (3-2), but beating Celta Vigo is easier said than done.
Os Celeste proved their worth in a 1-1 draw with Athletic Club in their last league match, which is surely giving fans a reason for optimism ahead of the trip to Burgos. The Galicians outplayed the likes of Pena Azagresa (2-0) and Merida (4-1) on the road in the previous two rounds; therefore, away win should be considered. Even though experienced attacker Iago Aspas failed to score in the 1-1 draw with Athletic Club, the opposition defenders should have him at bay.
