Our football match prediction:
Deportivo Alaves and Celta Vigo played out a goalless draw at Estadio de Balaidos in the first leg of the Copa del Rey semi-finals, but it has to be noted that Os Celeste missed a number of clear-cut chances to break the deadlock. Alaves are enjoying a very successful season and they will be looking to build on a 4-2 win over Sporting Gijon when they face Celta at their Estadio de Mendizorroza in Wednesday’s football match. The hosts are likely to rely on their rock-solid defence in the return leg and we would not be surprised if the two teams play out yet another goalless draw. Eduardo Berizzo’s troops are a real force to be reckoned with at home, but their away record is anything but good and, taking everything into account, we predict that Deportivo Alaves and Celta Vigo will share the spoils in the Copa del Rey semis, return leg.
