Our football match prediction:
Deportivo Alaves will be looking to defend their slim lead in the Copa del Rey tie with Getafe when the two teams take on each other at Estadio de Mendizorroza on Thursday evening. The Basque outfit recorded a hard-fought 1-0 win over los Azulones in the first leg and the hosts are likely to adopt a defence-minded approach in the reverse fixture. It is well known that Deportivo Alaves are tough to beat at home and you should bear in mind that they suffered only one loss in previous seven home fixtures in the Spanish Cup. Getafe, on the other hand, have been producing fine displays in La Liga this term, but they have slim chances of making it to the last 16 of the Copa del Rey. Los Azulones are not regarded as good travelers and, taking everything into account, we predict the Basques will get their job done in the return leg.
