Our football match prediction:
Osasuna and Eibar face each other in the Copa del Rey last 16. Los Rojillos have been playing below expectations in the La Liga this season and, as a result, they sit at the rock bottom in the standings. Osasuna, though, did well to eliminated Granada in the Copa del Rey last 32 and they will be looking to build on the victory when they host Eibar at their Estadio El Sadar on Tuesday. Los Armeros, on the other hand, rolled over Sporting Gijon in the two-legged tie and they are enjoying a very successful season. Eibar occupy 8th place in the La Liga standings ahead of Tuesday’s football game against Osasuna, but they will have to prove their worth on the field. The hosts want this win more than the visitors and that is the main reason why we predict that los Rojillos will grab something from the game.
Highlighted Player (Roberto Torres):
After scoring 23 goals in 132 appearances for Osasuna B, Roberto Torres made his first-team debut on 11 December 2011. He came as a substitute in a 1-1 draw with Malaga, but he played no more than two league games for los Rojillos in the 2011/2012 La Liga campaign. However, he was making progress year by year and he made 42 appearances for Osasuna in the 2015/2016 Segunda Division campaign. Roberto Torres is one of the players who helped the team secure promotion to Primera Division and it has to be noted that the midfielder scored 12 goals in the 2015/2016 season. Roberto Torres’ contract with Osasuna expires in 2018. The 178-cm-tall player was born in Pamplona, on 7 March, 1989. His main position is attacking midfielder, but he is capable of playing as a central midfielder as well.
