Our football match prediction:
Sergio Ramos’s own goal against Sevilla could prove fatal for Real Madrid in their race for the La Liga title. Los Blancos suffered a 2-1 loss to Jorge Sampaoli’s troops at Estadio Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan and a win over Celta Vigo in Copa del Rey quarter-finals would definitely help the capital club regain a much-needed confidence. Zinedine Zidane’s troops have been impressive at home so far this season and regardless of which players will be deployed in the starting XI, we predict that Cristiano Ronaldo and Co. will emerge triumphant in the first leg. Celta Vigo failed to impress against Deportivo Alaves at the weekend, but thanks to Nemanja Radoja’s late goal Os Celeste recorded a hard-fought 1-0 win over the newcomers. The Galicians face an uphill task in Wednesday’s football match against Real Madrid and they are unlikely to upset the Spanish giants at Estadio Santiago Bernabeu.
Highlighted Player (Gareth Bale):
Gareth Bale is a Welsh footballer who plays for Real Madrid as a winger. “Bailo” was born in Cardiff on 16 July, 1989 and, as expected, he played for his home-town club Cardiff Civil Service at the start of his youth career. In 2007 he signed a contract with Tottenham Hotspur and he was producing thrilling performances with the White Hart Lane outfit from 2007 to 2013. Real Madrid chiefs did well to sign him on 1 September, 2013 for a fee of €91 million. The Welsh winger won two Champions League trophies with los Blancos (2013/2014, 2015/2016) and, speaking of his international career, he made it to the European Championship finals with Wales.
