Our football match prediction:
Estadio Santiago Bernabeu will host Tuesday’s football match between Real Madrid and Fuenlabrada. Los Blancos have been struggling in La Liga this season and, as a result, they have slim chances of defending their title. The capital club have big ambitions for the 2017/2018 Copa del Rey campaign and they are with one foot in the last 16 of the competition. Los Blancos recorded a 2-0 win over Fuenlabrada at Estadio Fernando Torres in the first leg and they are seen as hot favourites to win Tuesday’s football game as well. Regardless of which players will be deployed in the starting XI, the Spanish giants are likely to make it to the next round of the Copa del Rey and we are tempted to put our money on Zinedine Zidane’s troops. Fuenlabrada are fully focused on Segunda B and we do not believe that they are capable of spoiling Real Madrid’s party at Estadio Santiago Bernabeu.
Highlighted Player (Kovacic):
Born to Croatian parents in Linz, Austria, Mateo Kovacic spent seven years in the LASK Linz youth academy before joining Dinamo Zagreb, where he showed a great deal of potential shortly after being promoted to the senior squad. The good return of 7 goals in 43 league appearances saw him secure a high-profile move to Inter Milan, where he acted as both holding midfielder and attacking midfielder, during the three years at Stadio Giuseppe Meazza. And despite not exactly impressing in Italy, Kovacic was purchased by mighty Real Madrid, where he has been ever since. The youngster is widely regarded as one of Croatia’s most talented footballers at the moment and he has represented the country on international stage since the age of 19. In just three years he managed to make over 25 appearances for the national team, playing at the 2014 World Cup and Euro 2016 finals for Vatreni. Kovavic has yet to be given a real chance to impress at Real Madrid, but he has entire future ahead of him.
Highlighted Team (Real Madrid):
Real Madrid are a Spanish football club based in Madrid. Real Madrid participate in La Liga (Primera Division) and they have won 32 domestic titles. On the other hand, los Blancos have won 11 European Cup titles and that is the main reason why they are considered the biggest football club in the world. Real Madrid play their home matches at Estadio Santiago Bernabeu and the capacity of the stadium is 84,454. Cristiano Ronaldo is the club’s most successful footballer in the 21st century and the Portuguese superstar has won two Golden Ball awards. The likes of Alfredo Di Stefano, Zinedine Zidane, Raul Gonzalez Blanco, David Beckham and Iker Casillas are star players who were part of the Estadio Santiago Bernabeu outfit in the past. Real Madrid’s bitterest rivals are Barcelona, but the rivalry between local rivals Atletico Madrid and Real Madrid is big as well. Real Madrid’s home kit is white and, as a result, the team’s nickname is los Blancos (the Whites).
