Our football match prediction:
Sevilla will be looking to claim a major scalp in the Spanish Cup last 16 when they welcome Spanish giants Real Madrid at their Estadio Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan. Los Sevillanos suffered a 3-0 loss to los Blancos in Madrid and it remains to be seen if Jorge Sampaoli’s men are capable of making a miracle on Thursday evening. The hosts have nothing to lose in the return leg and we predict that they will go all-out attack against Real Madrid. Zinedine Zidane’s men rolled over Granada (5-0) in their last league game and they are on the verge of advancing to the Copa del Rey quarter-finals. Los Blancos are definitely capable of defending their three-goal lead in Thursday’s football match and believe that they will share the spoils with Sevilla at “Pizjuan”. It has to be noted that the two teams face each other in La Liga on Sundays as well, meaning that Zinedine Zidane could mix the squad in the Copa del Rey clash.
Highlighted Player (Vitolo):
Over the years Victor Machin Perez - Vitolo has established himself as one of Sevilla’s key players. The pacey winger, who is capable of playing as a forward as well, won his third consecutive Europa League trophy with los Sevillanos in 2016. Vitolo was born in Las Palmas on 2 November, 1989 and he played for his home-town club Las Palmas from 2010 to 2013. The Spanish footballer joined Sevilla on 28 June, 2013 and, no doubt, he made the right decision when he moved to Estadio Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan. Vitolo played one game for Spain in the Euro 2016 qualifiers, but he failed to make the final cut. However, he established himself as a first-team regular under Julen Lopetegui. Vitolo scored his first goal for La Furia Roja in an 8-0 win over Liechtenstein and he provided an assist for David Silva as well. He has a contract with Sevilla which expires on 30 June, 2020.
Highlighted Team (Real Madrid):
Real Madrid are a Spanish football club based in Madrid. Real Madrid participate in La Liga (Primera Division) and they have won 32 domestic titles. On the other hand, los Blancos have won 11 European Cup titles and that is the main reason why they are considered the biggest football club in the world. Real Madrid play their home matches at Estadio Santiago Bernabeu and the capacity of the stadium is 84,454. Cristiano Ronaldo is the club’s most successful footballer in the 21st century and the Portuguese superstar has won two Golden Ball awards. The likes of Alfredo Di Stefano, Zinedine Zidane, Raul Gonzalez Blanco, David Beckham and Iker Casillas are star players who were part of the Estadio Santiago Bernabeu outfit in the past. Real Madrid’s bitterest rivals are Barcelona, but the rivalry between local rivals Atletico Madrid and Real Madrid is big as well. Real Madrid’s home kit is white and, as a result, the team’s nickname is los Blancos (the Whites).
