Our prediction for this Coupe de France match:
Nice have been struggling for the major part of this Ligue 1 season, with mixed results placing them in 10th place. Their biggest weakness is defense, as they’ve conceded the seventh-most goals out of all teams in the league this season. An easy match against a National 2 Group D team is just what they could use to get on track. Don’t expect anything else other than an easy win for Nice, but you shouldn’t be surprised to see Fréjus Saint-Raphaël putting up a fight.
Patrick Vieira will definitely experiment with formations. Expect youngsters to given a chance, as Nice desperately needs an antidote for their lackluster backline. Hicham Boudaoui, the talented midfielder from Algeria, didn’t see playing time before so this might be a good way for Vieira to see if he has a place in the lineup in the future. Easy 2 and a lot of goals.
