Our prediction for this Coupe de la Ligue match:
A spot in the Coupe de la Ligue last 16 will be at stake when Le Mans and Nice face each other at MMArena on Wednesday evening. Le Mans set up a meeting with Nice by beating the likes of Lorient and Orleans, but les Aiglons are likely to pose a much bigger threat for the hosts than their previous rivals.
The Ligue 2 side, though, have been producing fine performances at home in the French second tier of late and you should bear in mind that they are eyeing their third consecutive triumph at their MMArena. Nice, on the other hand, have been struggling to find their form in the first half of the season and seeing that they are on a three-game losing run in the French top flight, we are tempted to put our money on the underdogs this time out.
