Our prediction for this EFL Cup match:
Goodison Park will host Wednesday’s EFL Cup clash between Everton and Manchester United. When the two teams met in the Premier League last month the Red Devils emerged triumphant, meaning that the Toffees are hungry for revenge. Nonetheless, home win should not be considered as Man Utd impressed in a 6-2 win over Leeds United at the weekend. The Red Devils have slim chances of winning the national championship, and, no doubt, they will give 100% to go all the way in the EFL Cup.
The likes of Greenwood, Matic, Pogba, and Cavani could all be recalled to the starting XI for the EFL Cup game. Everton, on the other hand, aim to extend their winning run to four games. Carlo Ancelotti’s men did well to beat Arsenal 2-1 in their last league fixture, and given their attacking potential, both teams to score betting option should be considered.
Highlighted Player (James Rodriguez):

James Rodriguez is an attacking midfielder who plays for Spanish giants Real Madrid. The Colombian superstar played for the likes of Envigado and Banfield at the start of his career and he moved to Europe in 2010, joining Portuguese side Porto for a fee of €5.1 million.
James scored 25 goals in 63 league appearances with the Dragons and in 2013 he joined Monaco. His transfer to the Ligue 1 side was the second most expensive in the history of Portuguese Primeira Liga (€45 million) and he signed a five-year contract with les Rouges et Blancs. The Colombian ace impressed at the 2014 FIFA World Cup and, as a result, Real Madrid chiefs signed him on 22 July, 2014 for an undisclosed fee.
However, reports in Spain suggested that the fee was approximately €80 million. Rodriguez scored 13 goals in 29 league appearances for Real Madrid in the 2014/2015 Primera Division campaign and he was in Gareth Bale’s shadow in the 2015/2016 season. James is well known for his technical skills, his vision and the ability to create goal-scoring opportunities for his teammates.
Highlighted Team (Manchester United):

Over the years Manchester United have established themselves as one of the greatest clubs in world football. The Red Devils have won three European Cup (Champions League) trophies and they have clinched no less than 20 Premier League titles.
A number of top-class players were part of Manchester United in the past, but, no doubt, the club’s biggest legend is coach Sir Alex Ferguson, who was in charge of the team for 26 years. During Alex Ferguson’s spell at Old Trafford the club won a number of trophies, but the Red Devils have been struggling in all competitions ever since he retired. Louis van Gaal helped Manchester United win the FA Cup trophy in the 2015/2016 season, with Jese Lingard scoring the winner in the 2-1 triumph over Crystal Palace at Wembley Stadium.
The likes of Bobby Charlton, Paul Scholes, Roy Keane, Ruud van Nistelrooy, Wayne Rooney, Cristiano Ronaldo, George Best and Eric Cantona are the football stars that graced Old Trafford for Manchester United.
