Our prediction for this Euro 2020 match:
Russia will be looking to cement their spot in top two in Group I with a win over Scotland at Stadion Luzhniki on Thursday evening. Stanislav Cherchesov’s troops quickly bounced back from a 3-1 loss to Belgium in their opener, with the team recording a win in each of their previous five group games. The Russians aim to clinch their spot at Euro 2020 and we are positive that they will go for a win in the clash against Scotland, who are low on confidence ahead of the trip to Moscow.
A man to watch in the home team will be Artem Dzyuba, who has netted six goals in the process. The Scotts experienced all sorts of problems at the back in a 4-0 loss to Belgium last month and seeing that they have slim chances of booking their place at the next year’s European Championship.
Highlighted Player (Roman Zobnin):

In 2013 Dynamo Moscow chiefs brought him to Arena Khimki and he played for the capital club from 2013 to 2016, scoring two league goals for the White-blues during that period. Roman Zobnin then moved to Spartak Moscow and he has been playing for the Krasno-Belye ever since. His main position is central midfield, but he is capable of playing as both attacking and defensive midfielder as well.
Roman Zobnin made his debut for the Russian national team in March, 2015 in a friendly game against Kazakhstan. It has to be noted that his older Aleksandr Zobnin was also a professional footballer. Roman Zobnin has a contract with Spartak Moscow, which expires in June, 2020.
Highlighted Team (Scotland):

Despite being part of United Kingdom Scotland participate in football competitions as an independent country. The Scots qualified for the 1950 FIFA World Cup finals, but the SFA eventually withdrew their entry as they were not British champions. Four years later Scotland national football team participated at the showpiece tournament in Switzerland, but they were eliminated in the group stages.
Scotland booked their place at the FIFA World Cup on eight occasions, but they have not played a match at the finals of the major tournament since 1998. On the other hand, the Scotts participated at both Euro 1992 and Euro 1996, but they failed to qualify for the knockout stages at the tournaments in Sweden and England respectively. A number of Premier League stars played for the Scotland national football team in the past and Jim Baxter, Hughie Gallacher, John Greig, Jimmy Johnstone, Billy McNeill, Bobby Murdoch, Archie Gemmill and Lawrie Reilly are the footballers who made more than 50 appearances for Scotland, with Alan Hutton and Scott Brown joining the list recently.
The Scotts recorded their biggest win back in February 23, 1901, with the team rolling over Ireland 11-0. The team suffered their biggest defeat against Uruguay (0-7) in June, 1954. Gordon Strachan’s team welcome their opponents at Hampden Park.
