Our football match prediction:
As expected, Aberdeen eliminated Siroki Brijeg of Bosnia and Herzegovina in the Europa League second qualifying round. The Dons proved their worth in the two-legged tie against Siroki and they are surely capable of beating Apollon in round 3. Aberdeen are undefeated in previous seven home games in the Europa League and they are widely expected to grab something from Thursday’s football match. One of the men to watch in the home team will be summer signing Gary Mackay-Steven, who found the net in the 2-0 away win over Siroki Brijeg. Apollon, on the other hand, outplayed Zaria in round 2, but they will have a much bigger fish to fry in the tie against the Scottish outfit. As previously mentioned, Aberdeen are a real force to be reckoned with at home and that is probably the main reason why we predict the Dons will emerge triumphant in the first leg.
