Our football match prediction:
Thursday’s football game at Stade Constant Vanden Stock pits together Anderlecht and Mainz, the two teams who are level on points ahead of their fourth group game. Anderlecht kicked off their Europa League campaign with a routine win over Qabala and they shared the spoils with the likes of Saint-Etienne and Mainz in previous two matches in Group C. It is well known that Rene Weiler’s men are a real force to be reckoned with at home and we predict that the Belgian team will pick up one point from Thursday’s Europa League game. Mainz regained a much-needed confidence at the weekend, with the team beating Ingolstadt (2-0) in Bundesliga and, taking everything into account, the two teams should play out a low-scoring draw at Stade Constant Vanden Stock. It has to be noted that the Bundesliga side suffered no more than one defeat in previous four away games in all competitions.
