Our football match prediction:
Stade Constant Vanden Stock will host Thursday’s football match between Anderlecht and Manchester United. The Red Devils are regarded as main favourites to win the Europa League trophy, but the English giants will have to prove their worth on the field. Jose Mourinho takes every single competition very seriously and we predict that “The Special One” is going to field the best possible side against Anderlecht. Zlatan Ibrahimovic is likely to lead the attack for the visitors and we would not be surprised if the Premier League outfit get their job done in the first leg. The Belgian club eliminated the likes of Zenit and Apoel in previous two rounds, but they will have a much bigger fish to fry in the two-legged tie against Manchester United. The Red Devils aim to book their place in the Champions League by winning the Europa League trophy and, taking everything into account, away win appears on the cards.
Highlighted Player (Diego Capel):
Diego Capel is a former Sevilla winger, who was born in Albox, Spain on 16 February, 1988. Capel played for the likes of Barcelona and Sevilla during his youth career and he made his senior debut for los Sevillanos on 24 October, 2004 against Atletico Madrid. It has to be noted that he was only 16 years old when he helped Sevilla record a 2-1 win over the capital club. He played for the Estadio Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan outfit between 2004 and 2011 and on 18 July, 2011 he signed a five-year deal with Sporting Lisbon. Capel scored his first goal for the Portuguese outfit on 2 October, 2011, in a 1-0 victory over Vitoria Guimaraes. He played 99 games for Sporting, scoring 10 goals for the capital club between 2011 and 2015. After spending one season at Genoa, he signed for Anderlecht in 2016. The Spanish winger is very quick on the ball and he is well known for his very good crosses. Diego Capel has 25 caps for Spain U21 and he made his debut for the senior team against Denmark on 20 August, 2008.
Highlighted Team (Manchester United):
Over the years Manchester United have established themselves as one of the greatest clubs in world football. The Red Devils have won three European Cup (Champions League) trophies and they have clinched no less than 20 Premier League titles. A number of top-class players were part of Manchester United in the past, but, no doubt, the club’s biggest legend is coach Sir Alex Ferguson, who was in charge of the team for 26 years. During Alex Ferguson’s spell at Old Trafford the club won a number of trophies, but the Red Devils have been struggling in all competitions ever since he retired. Louis van Gaal helped Manchester United win the FA Cup trophy in the 2015/2016 season, with Jese Lingard scoring the winner in the 2-1 triumph over Crystal Palace at Wembley Stadium. The likes of Bobby Charlton, Paul Scholes, Roy Keane, Ruud van Nistelrooy, Wayne Rooney, Cristiano Ronaldo, George Best and Eric Cantona are the football stars that graced Old Trafford for Manchester United.
