Our football match prediction:
All eyes will be on Stade Constant Vanden Stock when Anderleht and Zenit face each other in the Europa League last 32, first leg. Over the years Zenit have established themselves as one of the dominant forces in the Russian Premier League and they have been playing important role in European competitions in the 21st century. The Zenitchiki recorded five wins in six group games and it has to be noted that the Russian side scored 2+ goals in each of their last seven matches in the Europa League. Anderlecht, though, are tough to beat at home and seeing that Zenit have been far from impressive at the back this term, we predict that the hosts will find the net in Thursday’s football game as well. It has been five years since the two teams last met in a competitive match. Back then Anderlecht recorded a hard-fought (1-0) win over Zenit at their Stade Constant Vanden Stock, but we would not be surprised if both teams score in Thursday’s Europa League clash.

Capel played for the likes of Barcelona and Sevilla during his youth career and he made his senior debut for los Sevillanos on 24 October, 2004 against Atletico Madrid. It has to be noted that he was only 16 years old when he helped Sevilla record a 2-1 win over the capital club. He played for the Estadio Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan outfit between 2004 and 2011 and on 18 July, 2011 he signed a five-year deal with Sporting Lisbon. Highlighted Team (Zenit Petersburg):
Zenit Saint Petersburg are a Russian football club that was founded by workers of Leningrad Metal Plant in 1925. Over the years the Zenitchiki have established themselves as one of the dominant forces in Russian football, but they won their first domestic trophy in 1984. Zenit have been impressive in the national championship in the 21st century, winning four league titles, while clinching two Russian Cups (2010, 2016). The Zenitchiki are a regular participant of the Champions League group stages and in 2008 they did well to win the UEFA Cup. The Russian outfit defeated Glasgow Rangers (2-0) in the title game, with Denisov and Zyryanov both finding the net in the final of the competition. Zenit play their home games at Krestovsky Stadium, the venue that was opened in 2016. Gazprom are the club’s main sponsors and the colour of their home shirts is white-sky blue. Brazilian ace Hulk is probably the most notable footballer who played for Zenit.
