Our football match prediction:
Athletic Bilbao will be looking to build on a hard-fought 1-0 win over Ostersunds when they welcome Hertha at their San Mames Barria. The Lions sit in third place in Group J, but a win over the Bundesliga side will see them regain their spot in top two. The Basque side have been playing below expectations in the Europa League, but seeing that they are a real force to be reckoned with at home, we are tempted to put our money on Jose Angel Ziganda’s men. Athletic Bilbao recorded seven wins in last eight home games in the Europa League and seeing that Hertha’s performances on the road leave a lot to be desired, home win should be considered. Pal Dardai’s men sit in the last position in Group J and, taking everything into account, they are unlikely to spoil Athletic Bilbao’s party in Thursday’s football match at San Mames Barria.
