Our football match prediction:
Athletic Bilbao were on the verge of suffering a loss to Ostersunds at Jamtkraft Arena, but Inaki Williams eventually scored a late equalizer for the Lions. The Basque outfit managed to grab something from the match, but they are still eyeing their first win of the process. This has to go down as a must-win match for the La Liga side and we predict that Jose Angel Ziganda’s men are going to leave their hearts on the field. It is well known that over the years Athletic Bilbao have turned their San Mames Barria into a real fortress and given the importance of the match for the hosts, we are tempted to put our money on the Lions this time out. Ostersunds are enjoying a very successful season, but seeing that the hosts want this win more than the visitors, we are tempted to put our money on the Basque club.
Highligted Player (Iñaki Williams):
Inaki Williams is one of the most talented Spanish players. The pacey winger, who plays as a centre-forward as well, started his senior career at Basconia, scoring seven goals in 18 appearances for the club. In 2014 he moved to Athletic Bilbao, but he played for the reserve team at the beginning. Inaki impressed in the 2014/2015 season with Athletic Bilbao B and, as a result, he was given a chance to prove his worth in the Spanish top flight with the first team. The Spanish footballer made his La Liga debut on December 6, 2014, replacing injured attacker Aritz Aduriz in a 1-0 loss to Cordoba. Inaki Williams represented Spain at the 2017 U21 European Championship in Poland and he played 20 minutes in a 1-0 loss to Germany in the final of the tournament. Speaking of the senior squad, the Athletic Bilbao footballer made his Spain debut in a 3-1 victory over Bosnia on May 29, 2016. Inaki Williams was born in Bilbao on June 15, 1994.
Highlighted Team (Ostersunds):
Against all odds, Ostersunds made it to the 2017/2018 Europa League group stages. Despite being regarded as big underdogs in the two-legged tie against PAOK, the Swedish club did well to shock the Greek side in the play-off round and, as a result, they will have a chance to prove their worth on the big stage. Ostersunds will face the likes of Zorya, Hertha and Athletic Bilbao in Group J and they will welcome their rivals at their Jamtkraft Arena. The stadium was opened on July 13, 2007 and the capacity of the venue is 8.466. Ostersunds, who were promoted to the Swedish top flight in 2016, did well to win the 2016/2017 Swedish Cup and that is considered as the club’s biggest success. The club was founded in 1996 and they are well known for their jerseys with red and black stripes. Ostersunds play their away games in white shirts and white shorts and the likes of Saman Ghoddos, Jamie Hopcutt, Jamal Blackman, Samuel Mensiro, Michael Tidser, David Accam, Brian Wake, Lee Makel and Connor Ripley are the notable footballers who played for the Swedish club in the past.
