Our match prediction:
High-flying AZ Alkmaar will be looking to extend their outstanding goal-scoring run when they take on PAS Giannina in the third round of the Europa League qualifiers. The Eredivisie side scored no less than 42 goals in previous eight warm-up matches and they are widely expected to find the net in Thursday’s football match against the Greek outfit. PAS Giannina eliminated Odd of Norway in the second qualifying round, but AZ are likely to pose a much bigger threat for Giannis Petrakis’ troops than their previous rivals. The Greeks are eyeing are their first ever away win in the Europa League, but we predict that they are likely to return home empty-handed. AZ Alkmaar look unstoppable at the moment and there is every chance the Dutch team are going to crush PAS Giannina in the first leg. The two teams meet for the first time ever in European competitions.
