Our prediction for this Europa League match:
Basaksehir Fatih Terim Stadyumu will host Thursday’s Europa League clash between Istanbul Basaksehir and Roma. A spot in the knockout stages is at stake as only two points separate the two teams in Group J. Thanks to back-to-back wins over Wolfsberger, the Turkish side climbed to the top position in the standings, but Borussia M’gladbach and Roma are breathing down their neck.
The Romans have been playing above expectations in the 2019/2020 Europa League season, and, as a result, they occupy third position in Group J ahead of the trip to Istanbul. A close encounter is on the cards, but given the attacking potential of the two teams, both teams to score bet should be considered. French attacker Enzo Crivelli, who scored a brace in the 3-0 win over Wolfsberger, will be the man to watch in the home team, while Basaksehir defenders should have Bosnia international Edin Dzeko at bay.
Highlighted Player (Arda Turan):

Arda Turan is one of the most famous footballers in the history of Turkish football and he is widely tipped to break Rusti Recber’s record of 120 caps for Milli Takim. The attacking midfielder came to prominence at Galatasaray, while also impressing as Turkey reached the Euro 2008 semi-finals, and he immediately received offers from top European clubs to cash in on his impressive showings. However, it would take another three years before he finally decided to accept the call from Atletico Madrid, thus becoming the most expensive Turkish footballer.
Turan played a key role for Diego Simeone’s side that impressed in both Spain and Europe from 2011 onwards, lifting the league trophy with los Colchoneros and narrowly missing out on the Champions League title.
Achieving a superstar status in his country, Turan always performed well for the Turkey national team, making more than 90 appearances for Milli Takim before the age of 30, and scoring more than 15 goals.
Highlighted Team (AS Roma):

AS Roma is a professional football club based in Rome. Roma were founded by a merger in 1927 and they play in the Italian Serie A. Roma’s fiercest rivals are Lazio and it has to be noted that both capital clubs play their home games at Stadio Olimpico. The two local rivals face each other in the Derby della Capitale, which is considered one of the most exciting derbies in the world of football.
The Giallorossi (The Yellow and Reds) have won three Serie A titles (1941/1942, 1982/1983, 2000/2001), while winning nine Coppa Italia trophies. The colour of Roma’s shirts is imperial purple with a golden yellow trim. A number of top-class footballers were part of Roma in the past, but Francesco Totti is undisputedly the club’s biggest legend. The Prince of Rom made his 601 appearances for Roma on 14 May, 2016 when the Giallorossi recorded a 3-1 win over Milan at Stadio San Siro.
