Our prediction for this Europa League match:
A spot in the quarter-finals of the Europa League will be at stake when Basel and Eintracht Frankfurt face each other at St. Jakob-Park on Thursday. Basel rolled over Eintracht in the first leg (3-0), meaning that the Germans have slim chances of making it to the last eight. Die Adler have no other choice but to go all guns blazing at the RotBlau, but seeing that their domestic campaign finished in June, away win should not be considered.
Basel, on the other hand, have yet to finish the Swiss Super League campaign, and given their fine home record, we predict that the visitors are going to return to Germany empty-handed. A man to keep an eye on in the home team will be Kemal Ademi, who has been scoring goals for fun of late. Anyhow, home win should be considered as die Adler head into the match with the lack of confidence.
