Our prediction for this Europa League match:
Getafe will be aiming to get their revenge on Basel for a shocking 1-0 loss in the suburbs of Madrid when the two teams face each other at St. Jakob-Park on Thursday evening. Los Azulones are still on the right track to book their place in the knockout stages of the Europa League, but the Spaniards will have to be at their sharpest in the remainder of the process if they are to secure a top-two finish.
Basel, on the other hand, aim to retain top position in the standings, and they would be happy with one point from the St. Jakob-Park clash. Even though Kevin Bua misses the game through suspension, we predict that the Swiss side are capable of holding Getafe to a draw in front of home fans. Fabian Frei, who scored the winner for Basel two weeks ago, will be the man to watch in the home team.
