Our football match prediction:
Beitar Jerusalem host Botev Plovdiv at their HaMoshava Stadium in the first leg of the Europa League second qualifying round. The Israeli side scored seven goals in the double-header against Vasas in round 1 and it is more than obvious that experienced midfielder Yossi Benayoun is going to play an important role in Sharon Mimer’s team this season. Beitar have been scoring goals for fun of late and it is no surprise they are considered favourites to win Thursday’s football match against Botev. The Bulgarians, on the other hand, outplayed Partizani Tirana of Albania in the two-legged tie and they are definitely high on confidence ahead of the trip to Israel. However, given Beitar’s recent form, we predict that the hosts are going to win the first leg. Hen Ezra, who scored a brace in the 3-0 win over Vasas, will be yet another man to watch in the home team.
