Our match prediction:
As expected, Crvena zvezda suffered a heavy 3-0 loss to Sassuolo in the Europa League, first leg. The Serbian team failed to make it to the Champions League group stages and, as things stand now, they are unlikely to book their place in the group stages of the Europa League. Miodrag Bozovic’s men produced probably the worst performances of the season against Sassuolo, but it has to be noted that key midfielder Kanga missed the match through suspension. The former Rostov ace returns to the starting line-up for the return leg and there is every chance he is going to help the team improve their game. The Crveno-beli are a real force to be reckoned with at home and we predict that they are going to beat the Serie A side in Thursday’s football match at Stadion Rajko Mitic. You should bear in mind that Crvena zvezda scored five goals in previous two home games.
