Our football match prediction:
As expected, Dinamo Zagreb eliminated Odd of Norway in the Europa League third qualifying round and, to make things even better for the fans, the capital club outplayed their bitter rivals Hajduk Split in the HNL derby. The “Modri” are brimming with confidence ahead of the visit of Skenderbeu Korce and seeing that the team have been scoring goals for fun at the start of the season, we predict that the hosts will emerge triumphant in Thursday’s football match. The Albanian side, on the other hand, did well to beat Mlada Boleslav on penalties in round 3, but Dinamo Zagreb are likely to pose a much bigger threat for Ilir Daja’s men than their previous rivals. It is well known that the Croats are a real force to be reckoned with at home and we predict that the likes of Soudani and Fernandes are going to make life difficult for the opposition defenders in the first leg.
Highligted Player (El Arabi Hillel Soudani):
The 28-year-old Algeria international forward El Arabi Hillel Soudani has been with Dinamo Zagreb since 2013. He began his professional career at ASO Chief and has also represented Portuguese side Vitoria Guimaraes. Algeria's seventh-highest goalscorer in history, Soudani featured in 2013 and 2015 editions of the Africa Cup of Nations, as well as the 2014 FIFA World Cup in Brazil. Soon after his arrival to Croatia, El Arani Hillal Soudani became one of the most valuable members of the first-team. The 28-year-old striker scored some of the highly important goals for the club, one of which was his UEFA Champions League playoff goal during extra time of the match with RB Salzburg in August 2016. The Algeria international scored a winning goal for his side in a 2-1 triumph which was enough to secure a Champions League group stage participation for the Croatian giants, their fourth since 2010.
Highlighted Team (Skenderbeu):
Founded in 1925, Skenderbeu are considered one of the oldest clubs in Albania. The Juglindoret (The South Easterners) are well known for their red shirts with white stripes and they welcome their rivals at Skenderbeu Stadium. The stadium was opened back in 1957 and the capacity of the venue is 12.343. Skenderbeu won their sixth Albanian Superliga trophy in the 2014/2016 season, whilst they have yet to win the Albanian Cup trophy. The Judlingoret will play in the 2017/2018 Europa League group stages after impressing in the qualifiers for the European competition. The Albanian outfit set up a meeting with Dinamo Zagreb in the Europa League play-offs by beating the likes of Santa Julia, Kairat and Mlada Boleslav and thank to the away goal rule they eliminated the Croatian side in the two-legged tie. Skenderbeu will face the likes of Dynamo Kiev, Young Boys and Partizan in Group B. The club’s main supporters group is Ujqerit e Debores.
