Our prediction for this Europa League match:
A spot in the Europa League second qualifying round will be at stake when Iskra and Lokomotiv Plovdiv face each other on Thursday evening. Iskra failed to impress in the preliminary round final against ten-man Santa Coloma, but they eventually set up a meeting with Lokomotiv Plovdiv after the penalty shoot-out. The Montenegrins will have a much bigger fish to fry in Thursday’s football match, and seeing that there will be no spectators due to the fierce of coronavirus spread, we are not tempted to put our money on the underdogs.
The Bulgarians, on the other hand, are eager to put an end to their three-game losing run in the Europa League, and given Iskra’s display in the 1-0 win over Santa Coloma, we are positive that the visitors will advance to the second qualifying round. Birsent Karagaren, who has already found his goal-scoring touch in the Bulgarian top flight, will be the man to watch in the away team.
