Our football match prediction:
After failing to “break the Champions League spell” Salzburg will be looking to give fans some cheer when they take on Viitorul at Stadionul Central in the first leg of the Europa League play-offs. The Red Bulls were more than unfortunate not to beat Rijeka in the Champions League third qualifying round, but they have been scoring goals for fun at the start of the new Austrian Bundesliga campaign and it is no surprise they are seen as favourites on paper to beat Viitorul in the two-legged tie. The Romanian team have been struggling to find their best form in the national championship of late and, taking everything into account, we are tempted to put our money on the Austrian champions. Korean attacker Hee-Chan Hwang has been in a fine form at the star of the season, meaning that the opposition back-line should have their work cut out for them when facing the Asian rising star.
