Our prediction for this Europa League match:
Against all odds, Villarreal suffered a 2-1 loss to Osmanlispor at their Camp El Madrigal and, as a result, they dropped to third place in Group L. The Yellow Submarine have been producing fine performances in La Liga this season and that is certainly giving fans a reason for optimism ahead of the trip to Switzerland. Fran Escriba’s team recorded a 2-1 win over Zurich in the reverse fixture, meaning that they need to pick up one point from Thursday’s football match if they are to climb to second place in the standings. We predict that the Spaniards will adopt a defence-minded approach against Ulrich Forte’s troops and, taking everything into account, share of spoils appears on the horizon. Zurich are on a four-game winning run in the Swiss Challenge League and it has to be noted that they scored 18 goals in previous four league fixtures. Anyhow, they face an uphill task against Villarreal.
