Our prediction for this Europa League match:
All eyes will be on Ulker Stadyumu Fenerbahce Sukru Saracoglu Spor Kompleksi when Fenerbahce and Manchester United face each other in the Europa League in what is expected to be the most entertaining game of Thursday’s program. Jose Mourinho’s men have been playing below expectations in the 2016/2017 Premier League campaign, but they did well to crush Fenerbahce 4-1 in their last Europa League match. A win over the English giants would see Fener climb to second position in Group A and we predict that the hosts will adopt an attack-minded approach in Thursday’s football match. Seeing that both teams will go for a win this time out, there is every chance we will see a high-scoring affair in Istanbul. You should bear in mind that no less than 16 goals were scored in previous three meetings between the two teams in European competitions. Paul Pogba impressed in the reverse fixture and he will be the man to watch in the away team.
Highlighted Player (Simon Kjaer):
Simon Kjaer began his senior career at FC Midtjylland and in 2008 he moved to Italy, signing a deal with Palermo. The Danish footballer scored his first goal for Palermo on 2 November in a 3-0 victory over Chievo Verona. After making 62 league appearances for the Sicilian outfit he joined Wolfsburg on 30 June, 2010, playing 57 games in the Bundesliga with the Wolves. After ending his loan spell with Roma, the Danish defenders returns to Woflsburg and on 5 July, 2013 he moved to Lille. The 189-cm-tall footballer, who was born in Horsens, Denmark on 16 March, 1989, signed a four-year deal with Fenerbahce on 16 June, 2015 for a fee of €7.65 million. Simon Kjaer was named Danish U19 Player of the Year in 2007 and he has 10 caps for the Denmark U19 team. The Fenerbahce defender played for Denmark at the 2010 FIFA World Cup in South Africa and he started the games against Netherlands and Cameroon in the group stages of the showpiece tournament.
Highlighted Team (Manchester United):
Over the years ManchesterUnited have established themselves as one of the greatest clubs in world football. The Red Devils have won three European Cup (Champions League) trophies and they have clinched no less than 20 Premier League titles.
A number of top-class players were part of Manchester United in the past, but, no doubt, the club’s biggest legend is coach Sir Alex Ferguson, who was in charge of the team for 26 years. During Alex Ferguson’s spell at Old Trafford the club won a number of trophies, but the Red Devils have been struggling in all competitions ever since he retired. Louis van Gaal helped Manchester United win the FA Cup trophy in the 2015/2016 season, with Jese Lingard scoring the winner in the 2-1 triumph over Crystal Palace at Wembley Stadium.
The likes of Bobby Charlton, Paul Scholes, Roy Keane, Ruud van Nistelrooy, Wayne Rooney, Cristiano Ronaldo, George Best and Eric Cantona are the football stars that graced Old Trafford for Manchester United.
