Our football match prediction:
Vitoria Guimaraes take on Konyaspor at their Estadio Dom Afonso Henriques on Thursday evening and this has to go down as a must-win game for the visitors. The Turkish side sit in third place in Group I ahead of the trip to Portugal, but a win over Guimareas could see them overtake Marseille in second position and clinch their spot in the last 32. The Primeira Liga team, on the other hand, suffered a heavy 3-0 loss to Salzburg at Red Bull Arena in their last game in the process and, as a result, they have no chance of qualifying for the knockout stages of the competition. The visitors want this win more than the hosts and we predict Mehmet Ozdilek’s team will pick up all three points from Thursday’s Europa League clash. However, you should know that Konyaspor will not make it to the last 32 if Marseille avoid defeat in their last group game against Salzburg.
